Lichtparcours Braunschweig 2016

In the port of Braunschweig, a few minutes outside of the city, stands an old granary.  Studio Drift, that creates a dialogue between nature and technology, was invited to participate in Lichtparcours 2016. Studio Drift took the opportunity and used the building as part of their installation. During Lichtparcours 2016 the granary will be transformed into a dynamic experience, an installation about the play between static human structures and nature reclaiming the building. Taking the inside outside and the past back to the present.

'GlassFever', DordtYart | In 20 Steps

For 25 years Adriano Berengo has been a passionate promoter of the use of glass in the visual arts. In his glass factory on Murano in Venice, established artists and emerging talents from around the world work together with the maestros of the glass furnaces. Berengo wants to bring contemporary art in glass as an autonomous art form to the highest podium, next to painting and sculpture. GlassFever shows the results of Berengo's mission on four special locations in Dordrecht: The Dordrecht Museum, DordtYart, Museum Huis van Gijn and the Dordrecht Patriciershuis. Over 80 objects and installations in glass by some 60 artists.

Bureau Europa, Maastricht | The Obsidian Project

The exhibition The Next Big Thing is Not a Thing relates the evolving field of design to the science of anthropology. Using the gaze as a metaphor, the exhibition surveys the evolution of the design discipline and examines new fields of knowledge and critical practices. The exhibition questions the underlying myths within design, deconstructs its emerging signs, and examines how technology determines the future landscape of design.
